Puppy Social Hour & Dog Training at The Rescue Pack

MY MISSION: TO PROVIDE FORCE-FREE, REWARDS-BASED BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION AND TRAINING.
I found my passion for dog training after taking in a litter of puppies along with their mom in November 2012. No rescue group would take them so we decided to take them in on our own. We ended up keeping the fearful mom, Dani, and two puppies, Evelyn and Daisy (Daisy had behavioral concerns). I hired a dog trainer to come to my home to work with Daisy when she was only 12 weeks old. This trainer convinced me to apply to The Academy for Dog Trainers. I joined the Academy in March 2013. I completed the rigorous program and obtained my Certificate of Training and Counseling (CTC) in February 2016. I am a Fear Free Certified Professional and a member of The Pet Professional Guild (PPG).
My philosophy is to provide humane, ethical training that is backed by science. Learning shouldn’t be painful or scary, therefore I don't use techniques or devices that could potentially be either. Training is force-free and rewards based.
